Launch of Farming and Livestock Projects
Lancement des projets agricoles et d'élevage

Under the Cameroonian sun of October, students from CP to CM2 classes invested the school grounds to launch their first farming and livestock projects, as part of an innovative interdisciplinary educational program. Each class adopted a garden plot and was given the responsibility of growing local vegetables: tomatoes, peppers, okra, green salads, and even some aromatic plants. Students actively participated in all stages: soil preparation, sowing, regular watering, monitoring plantations. They benefited from the advice of an agricultural expert who came to lead practical workshops. In parallel, a small poultry farm was set up in a coop built specifically for the occasion. Children thus discover the life cycle of chickens, egg collection, and the importance of animal welfare. This educational initiative aims to develop a sense of responsibility, understanding of natural cycles, and appreciation of manual work.
